Introduction

TeraGrid Information Services "IS" are an integrated set of web services that publish information about the TeraGrid's user facing capabilities.
These web services are used by documentation web sites, portals, and gateways, to generate dynamic user documentation. They may also be accessed by portals, gateways, meta-schedulers, and other sofware systems to auto-discover and auto-configure access to TeraGrid user facing capabilities.
